FCI World Championship and CSS World Winner event

26th – 29th of May 2022

Kalajoki, Finland

We welcome you all to Kalajoki to have a great sighthound event with us. We are excited to host the first FCI World Championship and CSS World Winner event - Lure Coursing.

Stay on track.

We have ready made plans to organize WCC 2022 and CWCW 2022 from 26th to 29th of May 2022. Depending on the amount of entered dogs, breeds can reschedule and can be moved to another day.

Local sighthound clubs that will organize the event have more than 15 years of experience arranging sand coursing – you will be in good paws!

Beach area

The Kalajoki beach area is clean, safe and beautiful. Races will be run on sand tracks and we'll be using a special sand pulley which is low profile to use and stays in the sand.

Enough space

Kalajoki Hiekkasärkät has space for at least three parcours / coursing tracks. So we won't run out of space, that's for sure!

To do

In Kalajoki Hiekkasärkät area you'll find a large camping area, many hotels, bars and even a spa. There's a lot to do even after the final race is run after each day, so go and explore!

Visit Kalajoki

WCC 2022 has active co-operation with Visit Kalajoki. They are taking the responsibility for organizing accommodation and all other common area arrangements. For more info (f.ex. location and how to get there) click here.
